Cancellation Policy

Bookings are made through online travel platforms

Ichigo Japan tours are booked and paid for through online travel platforms such as GetYourGuide or Viator. Cancellations, changes and refunds are processed by the platform you booked with.

If you cancel

The cancellation terms shown on the tour’s listing at the time you book apply. Please check the listing for the cancellation deadline before booking, and cancel through the same platform.

If we cancel

We may cancel a tour if heavy rain, a typhoon, a weather warning, a natural disaster, a public transport disruption or another situation would make it unsafe, or if the guide is unable to lead the tour because of sudden illness. In that case we will contact you as early as possible, and you will receive a full refund through the booking platform, or be offered another date if you prefer.

Late arrival and no-shows

If you do not arrive at the meeting point by the start time without contacting us, this is treated as a no-show and is not refunded, unless the platform’s terms state otherwise.
